Built in 1988 and fully refurbished during the winter of 2002, the modern Aparthotel Ivory Playa has a total of 168 guest rooms, including 152 self catering apartments and 16 studio flats, that are built over five floors and set amidst 3,000m2 of sun terraces and Mediterranean style gardens.

All guest rooms on the complex are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with an American style kitchenette with a two plated hob, fridge, microwave oven, toaster cutlery and crockery, a combined lounge/dining room with two sofa beds, as well as a direct dial telephone, flat screen satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have either pool or garden views. In addition to the above, on the ground floor of the hotel, three apartments have been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all guest rooms on the complex are also provided with a maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk, luggage and courtesy rooms with showers for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international dishes and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, supermarket, laundry service, hairdresser, public internet terminals with WIFI connections in all communal areas, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests include a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with separate children's section, along with spacious sun terraces and gardens furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's Mini Club, offering a variety of games, arts and crafts, pony riding and excursions, as well as for the adults a choice of facilities including tennis, football and volleyball courts, along with table tennis and cycle hire.

The Aparthotel Ivory Playa also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities featuring pistol shooting, archery, pool games and aerobics as well as evening entertainment with a children’s disco followed by either live music, cabaret and other professional shows several times each week.
