Built in 2001, the modern low rise Meliá Cala d'Or Boutique Hotel has a total of 49 guest rooms including 18 luxury rooms that are decorated in the typical Majorcan style, and a further 31 Junior Suites all of which are distributed between four separate one and two-storey buildings and set amidst 7,100m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and terraces around a central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with a hydro massage-bath, shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone with fax connection, satellite television, fridge or mini-bar, safety deposit box and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above, a daily maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, along with luggage and courtesy rooms with showers for late departures, laundry and medical services, a games room, public internet terminals, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests include a choice of three large outdoor freshwater swimming pools with Jacuzzi and separate children's pool, that are surrounded by spacious gardens and sun terraces furnished with loungers and parasols.
