Built in 2000, the modern low rise Aparthotel Playa Mar has a total of 160 guest rooms including 157 self catering apartments and 3 studio flats that are built over 3 floors and set amidst 4,500m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces.

All guest rooms on the complex are either centrally heated or air conditioned according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower, along with a combined lounge/kitchenette with two electric rings, fridge, toaster and kettle, as well as a safety deposit box available for rental, direct dial telephone, satellite television and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have pool and garden views. One bedroom apartments have a twin bedroom and one sofa bed with an addition pull-out bed in the lounge area, and studios flats have two beds with one sofa bed, plus an additional pull-out bed. In addition to the above, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, along with a luggage room, games room, air conditioned buffet style restaurant and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests include a choice of both outdoor freshwater swimming pools with a separate children's section, and sun terraces furnished with loungers and parasols, as well as a smaller indoor heated pool with sauna, Turkish bath, Jacuzzi and gymnasium. Other leisure facilities include a children's play area and tennis court.
