Built in 1998, the modern low rise Aparthotel Viva Blue has a total of 256 one bedroom self catering apartments which are distributed between 4 four storey buildings, and set amidst almost 5,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms on the complex are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with an open plan kitchenette with refrigerator and microwave oven, and a combined lounge/dining room with sofa beds, a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above, 6 apartments have also been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all rooms are provided with a maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen every 3 days.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange service, luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, snack bars, public internet terminals, a supermarket, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars. For business guests, the Aparthotel Viva Blue also offers the use of 2 large air conditioned conference and meeting rooms, seating a maximum of 100 people, both of which are fully equipped with the latest state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with separate children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini club as well as a smaller indoor heated swimming pool with sauna, Jacuzzi and gymnasium.

The Aparthotel Viva Blue also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
