Built in 1988 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 1999/2000, the modern low rise Baulo Mar complex has a total of 20 one bedroomed self catering apartments, each sleeping a maximum of 4 people, which are built over 3 floors around a small central pool area.

Each apartment on the complex comes equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with a fridge, and a combined lounge/dining room with sofa beds, a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool area. In addition to the above, a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a reception area with currency exchange services, luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, a games room, snack bar and lounge bar with satellite television. Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a small outdoor freshwater swimming pool with spacious sun terraces which are furnished with loungers and parasols.
