Built in 1990 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2003, the modern low rise Callao Garden complex has a total of 219 guest rooms, offering a choice of both one and two bedroom self catering apartments, which are built over 4 floors and set amidst spacious sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms on the complex come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with an open plan kitchenette with electric cooking rings and refrigerator, a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, laundry and medical services, public internet terminals and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with separate children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a children's playground and mini club, as well as a mini golf course, a hard surface tennis court, a squash court, and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Callao Garden Apartments also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
