Built in 1995 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2001, the modern low rise Gran Santa Ponsa complex has a total of 143 one bedroom self catering apartments, which are built over 4 floors, and set amidst almost 1,000m2 of sun terraces and Mediterranean style gardens overlooking a large central pool area.

All guest rooms on the complex are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with refrigerator, electric cooking rings, toaster and microwave oven, as well as a combined dining room/lounge area with two additional sofa beds, a direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, all rooms are also provided with a maid service undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with laundry and medical services, a games room, public internet terminals and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a children's playground and mini club, along with a multi sports activity area for football and volleyball etc, and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Gran Santa Ponsa Apartments also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring sports activities, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
