Built in 1970 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2000, the Hostel Juan Palma has a total of 35 guest rooms, including 30 standard twin rooms and a further 5 singles, which are built over 5 floors. All guest rooms at the Hostel Juan Palma come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a telephone and balcony with exterior views. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a reception area and lounge bar with satellite television.
