Built in 1965 and extensively renovated during the winter of 2001, the modern low rise Hotel El Chico has a total of 45 guest rooms that are built over 3 floors and set amidst almost 2,000m² of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped with a fully fitted bathroom with shower along with a satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for hire and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the garden and pool area. In addition to the above, a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, along with a games room, air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities shared between the Aparthotel Ariel and Hotel El Chico include a choice of 4 large outdoor freshwater swimming pools with separate children's sections, and spacious sun terraces furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities available to guests include both tennis and squash courts, as well as a sauna and children's playground and mini club.

The Aparthotel Ariel and Hotel El Chico also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
