Built in 1988 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2001, the modern low rise Hotel Bahia Blanca Rock complex has a total of 200 one bedroom apartments, which are distributed between 6 two storey buildings and set amidst spacious sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open kitchenette with oven and refrigerator and a combined lounge/dining room with direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or a terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a number of apartments at the Hotel Bahia Blanca Rock have also been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all rooms are provided with a maid service undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes 2 large outdoor freshwater swimming pools with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's mini club and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel Bahia Blanca Rock also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring boules, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
