Built in 1967 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2002, the low rise Hotel Lux Playa Resort has a total of 236 twin rooms that are built over 5 floors, and set amidst 400m2 of sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the sea.

All guest rooms at the hotel come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above features, the hotel also has a number of Superior Rooms which are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped with a satellite television and bathroom with hairdryer. All guest rooms at the hotel are also provided with a maid service undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk and luggage rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens overlooking the sea which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground, along with a tennis and volleyball court, sauna, Jacuzzi, Turkish bath and gymnasium.

The Hotel Lux Playa Resort also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring archery, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
