Built in 1987 and fully renovated during the winter of 2004/5, the modern Hotel Maritimo has a total of 261 guest rooms, including 241 standard twin rooms and a further 20 singles, which are built over 7 floors and set amidst almost 4,000m2 of landscaped Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern fully fitted bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a satellite television with music channels, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental, mini bar and either a terrace or balcony, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, all guest rooms are also provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk and both luggage and courtesy rooms with showers for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, public internet terminals, a games room, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Maritimo also offers the use of two large air conditioned conference and meeting rooms, with the capacity to seat up to 20 guests, both of which are equipped with a selection of modern audiovisual equipment.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests include two large outdoor freshwater swimming pools for adults, with separate children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini club, along with two artificial grass tennis courts, a beach volley court and both pool and table tennis tables.

Guests staying at the Hotel Maritimo also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own 450m2 Spa and Wellness Centre, which features an additional heated indoor swimming pool with hydromassage, along with a Jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath and cardiovascular gymnasium, as well as a offering a variety of other cosmetic and beauty treatments and massages.

The Hotel Maritimo also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring pistol shooting, pool games and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.

In recognition of the Grupotel high standards of environmental management procedures, the Hotel Grupotel Maritimo has been awarded the internationally renowned certification of ISO 14001:2004, along with the German independent online opinion portal for travel and vacationing 2007 HolidayCheck Award.
