Built in 1997, the modern low rise Hotel Prinsotel La Dorada has a total of 256 guest rooms, including 232 one bedroom apartments and a further 24 Suites, which are distributed between 4 four storey buildings, and set amidst almost 1,500m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with microwave and fridge, and a combined lounge/dining room with 2 additional sofa beds, direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, snack bars, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Prinsotel La Dorada also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, seating a maximum of 50 people, which is fully equipped with a selection of the latest state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, along with a separate children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini club, as well as a smaller indoor heated swimming pool with sauna, Jacuzzi and gymnasium.

The Hotel Prinsotel La Dorada also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
