The hotel is approximately 6km from the International Aeropuerto de Menorca airport and a 2km walk from the city centre where you will find a selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1962 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2014, the modern low rise Hotel Rey Carlos III has a total of 85 guest rooms, including 71 standard twin rooms, 11 singles, and a further 3 suites, all of which are built over 3 floors and set amidst almost 500 m² of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the sea.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower and hair dryer, along with a direct dial telephone, high speed WiFi internet access, a satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea.

In addition to the above features, Suites at the hotel also have a separate sitting room, leading onto the terrace where you will find a Jacuzzi, and all guest rooms are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice e a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with public internet terminals with complimentary high speed WiFi access available in selected areas, a games room, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.
