Built in 1971, the Hotel Rocador Playa has a total of 110 guest rooms, including a selection of single rooms and twins along with both demi-suites and suites, all of which are built over 5 floors and set amidst almost 500m² of sun terraces and Mediterranean style gardens that lead down to the Cala Gran beach.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the Cala Gran cove. In addition to the above, a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, along with a games room, public internet terminals, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant with show cooking, snack bar, luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests are shared between the Hotel Rocador Playa and nearby Hotel Rocador, and includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with separate children's section, and spacious sun terraces furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and a smaller indoor heated swimming pool with sauna and gymnasium, offering guests a variety of fitness classes including aerobics, body sculpturing, Jujitsu and aqua gym.

The Hotel Rocador Playa and Hotel Rocador also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with either live music, cabaret or other professional shows three times each week.
