Built in 1968 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2000, the modern low rise Hotel S'Algar has a total of 106 guest rooms, including 100 standard twin rooms and a further 6 singles, which are built over 2 floors, and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces, around a large central pool area overlooking the sea.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, hairdryer and cosmetic mirror, along with a satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental, mini-bar and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms with showers for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with separate children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

Guests staying at the Hotel S’Algar also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Spa and Wellness Centre, which features a Jacuzzi, sauna and steam bath, as well as offering a variety of other cosmetic and massage treatments.

  Guests staying at the Hotel S'Algar are also welcome to join in with the daytime sporting activities at the nearby Hotel San Luis, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
