Built in 1973 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2000, the modern low rise Hotel Sol Menorca has a total of 188 guest rooms, including 171 standard twin rooms and a further 17 singles, which are built over 5 floors and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the sea.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, hairdryer and magnifying mirror, along with a safety deposit box available for rental, direct dial telephone, ceiling fan, satellite television, mini-bar and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults and spacious sun terraces and gardens overlooking the sea which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a well equipped cardiovascular gymnasium and club house providing a free pool towel service.

The Hotel Sol Menorca also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring archery, pistol shooting and aerobics, along with evening entertainment with either live music, cabaret and other professional shows several times each week.
