Built in 1971 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2005 to include the installation of a fire detection system, the modern Hotel Summa Paguera has a total of 134 guest rooms, which are built over 5 floors and set amidst 2,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk, luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, snack bar, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes an outdoor freshwater swimming pool with sun terraces which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a smaller indoor heated swimming pool as well as a children's playground.

In recognition of the Summa group high standards of customer care and management systems, the Hotel Summa Paguera has been awarded the internationally renowned certification of ISO 9001:2000 Certificate for Quality.
