Built in 1971 and extensively renovated during the winter of 2003, the modern low rise Hotel Tamarix has a total of 82 guest rooms, including 63 double rooms, 16 singles and a further 3 Suites, which are distributed between 4 three storey buildings and set amidst 3,000m2 of sun terraces and Mediterranean style gardens around a central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower, along with a satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above, a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, along with a games room, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant with show cooking, snack bar, luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with separate children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a smaller indoor heated pool with sauna and gymnasium and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel Tamarix also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
