Built in 1988, the modern low rise Hotel Valentin Puerto Azul Suites has a total of 148 guest rooms, which are distributed between three 3 storey buildings, and set amidst almost 6,700m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces, overlooking a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with refrigerator, a combined lounge/dining room with two additional sofa beds, safety deposit box available for rental, direct dial telephone and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception desk with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, laundry and medical services, public internet terminals, a games room and and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large 500m2 outdoor freshwater swimming pool that has been divided into three sections, one of which is for children, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a children's playground and mini club and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel Valentin Puerto Azul Suites also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring petanque, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
