Built in 2001, the modern low rise Aparthotel Vell Mari has a total of 251 guest rooms, including 211 one bedroom self catering apartments and a further 40 studio flats, which are distributed between a 3 storey main building and a smaller 2 storey annexe block, all of which are then set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, hairdryer and cosmetic mirror, along with an open plan kitchenette with electric cooking rings and refrigerator, a combined lounge/dining room with two additional sofa beds, satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, five apartments at the Aparthotel Vell Mari have also been specially adapted for the needs of disabled guests, and all rooms at the hotel are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian dishes, as well as a games room, laundry and medical services, public internet terminals with WiFi access available in selected areas, and both pool and lounge bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with separate children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a children's playground and mini club, and both pool and table tennis tables.

For sports enthusiasts, the Aparthotel Vell Mari also offers the use of a large multi-purpose sports activity area, suitable for five a side football and volleyball etc, along with a hard surface tennis court.

Guests staying at the Aparthotel Vell Mari also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Thai Zen Space Spa and Wellness Center, which features a smaller indoor heated swimming pool with Jacuzzi, sauna and cardiovascular gymnasium, as well as offering a variety of other cosmetic and beauty treatments including aromatherapy, diet programmes and medical consultations.

The Aparthotel Vell Mari also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring archery, air rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
