Built in 1991 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2007, the modern low rise Aparthotel Viva Palma Nova has a total of 194 guest rooms, including 179 one bedroom self catering apartments and a further 15 studios flats, which are distributed between 4 four storey buildings, and set amidst almost 5,000m2 of sun terraces and Mediterranean style gardens overlooking a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with 2 electric cooking rings and refrigerator, a combined lounge/dining area with additional sofa beds, direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, 2 apartments at the Aparthotel Viva Palma Nova have also been specially adapted for the needs of disabled guests, and all rooms at the hotel are provided with a maid service undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen every 3 days.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, public internet terminals, a games room, laundry and medical services, a supermarket and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests the Aparthotel Viva Palma Nova also offers the use of 3 large air conditioned conference and meeting rooms, with a capacity to seat a maximum of 120 persons, all of which are equipped with a selection of modern audiovisual equipment.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with separate children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a children's playground and mini club, along with a multi sports activity area for football and volleyball etc, a putting green and both pool and table tennis tables.

Guests staying at the Aparthotel Viva Palma Nova also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Spa and Wellness Centre, which features a further indoor heated swimming pool with cardiovascular gymnasium, sauna, Turkish bath and Jacuzzi, along with an adults only "chill out" swimming pool with Jacuzzi, high pressure water streams and Balinese beds.

The Aparthotel Viva Palma Nova also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, archery and aerobics as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.

In recognition of the Hotel Viva Groups' high standards of environmental management, the Aparthotel Viva Palma Nova has been awarded the internationally recognised certificate of ISO 14001:2004, as well as the E-MAS Certificate in which verified business establishments are required to recycle to pre-agreed standards.
