AttractionsBeing one of the smallest resort destinations on Tenerife, La Caleta does not as yet benefit from the presence of tourist information offices in the town. However, the offices of the Adeje Town Council will always endeavour to assist with enquiries whenever they are able, and be contacted at:Adeje Town Council Department of Tourism C./ Grande nº1 38670 Adeje Tenerife Sur Telephone: +34 922 756 230 Fax: +34 922 782 042 Email: josemico@correo.costa-adeje.es
In addition to the above, other resort based offices can also be found at:
Oficinas de Informacion Turistica If for whatever reason you don't decide to hire a car, getting around the south west coast of Tenerife is fairly easy by public transport. A very reliable bus service is operated by the Transportes Interurbanos de Tenerife throughout all of island, with their Linea 441 route running a daily service roughly every hour from La Caleta to Los Cristianos, passing through the resorts centres of Playa de las Americas, Torviscas and Fanabe enroute. Overall the journey into Playa de las Americas is very reasonable at around 1.5€ each way, when compared to an average cost of 10€ for the same trip by taxi.
