Built in 1973 and extensively renovated during the winter of 2001, the modern Las Palomas complex has a total of 170 one bedroom self catering apartments, which are built over 9 floors overlooking a central pool area.

All guest rooms on the complex are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with refrigerator, freezer, microwave oven and tea pot, a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the resort. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels every 3 days, and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, along with both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, a television lounge, games room, supermarket, laundry and medical services, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes an outdoor freshwater swimming pool with spacious sun terraces which are furnished with loungers and parasols.
