The 3 star Hotel Riviera Playa has an enviable sea front location in the lively resort of Playa de Palma on the central southern coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 8km east of the capital Palma, 3km south east of the Son Sant Joan International airport, and a few steps from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1962 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 1998, the low rise Hotel Riviera Playa has a total of 74 guest rooms, including 71 standard twin rooms and a further 3 singles, which are built over 5 floors around a large central pool area overlooking the magnificent Bay of Palma.

All guest rooms at the hotel are centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.
