Built in 1985 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 1993, the modern Paraiso de Alcudia complex has a total of 217 one bedroom self catering apartments, which are built over 6 floors, and set amidst almost 2,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces, around a large central pool area overlooking the magnificent Bay of Alcudia.

All guest rooms on the complex come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with refrigerator, toaster and coffee pot, a combined dining/living room with two sofa-beds, direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for hire and either a terrace or balcony, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above features, all rooms are also provided with a maid service undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception desk with currency exchange services and both luggage and courtesy rooms with showers for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant that offers traditional Majorcan, national and international dishes, as well as a supermarket, games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini club, as well as both pool and table tennis tables.

The Paraiso de Alcudia Apartments also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
