Built in 1989 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2004, the modern low rise Siesta Playa complex has a total of 164 one and two bedroom self catering apartments that are distributed between 5 three storey buildings and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms on the complex are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower, a kitchenette with fridge and a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental, satellite television and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk, luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens overlooking the sea which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's mini club, and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Siesta Playa Apartments also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
