Built in 1974 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2004, the modern Siesta resort complex has a total of 307 guest rooms, offering a choice of both 1 and 2 bedroom self catering apartments and studio flats, all of which are built over 9 floors, and set amidst almost 8,000mē of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces overlooking a large central pool area.

All guest rooms on the complex are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, hairdryer and cosmetic mirror, along with an open plan kitchenette with refrigerator, vitro-ceramic hob, microwave oven, toaster, kettle and coffee peculator, a combined dining/living room with sofa-beds, safety deposit box available for hire, direct dial telephone, satellite television and either a terrace or balcony, most of which have either pool, mountain or garden views. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services and both luggage and courtesy rooms with showers for late departures, along with a games room, a small on site supermarket, public internet terminals, a self service laundry service, as well as a buffet style restaurant, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large 850m2 lagoon-shaped swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini club, as well as a floodlit hard surface tennis court and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Siesta Apartments also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
