Part of the prestigious Sol Melia Group of hotels, the 3 key Sol Cala D'or Apartments are situated around 250 metres from both the Cala Gran and Cala Ferrera beaches in the popular resort of Cala D'or on the southern east coast of Majorca. The apartments are approximately 65km from the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and 1km from the picturesque Cala d'or marina where you will find a wide selection of restaurants, bars and shops.

Built in 1983 and extensively renovated during the winter of 1997, the modern Sol Cala D'or complex has a total of 151 guest rooms, including 99 self catering apartments with double rooms with lounge, and a further 52 studio flats, all of which are built over 4 floors and set amidst 1,945m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a central pool area.

All guest rooms on the complex are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped with a fully fitted bathroom with shower, along with a kitchenette with two electric rings and oven with grill, toaster and kettle, lounge with additional sofa beds, a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above, a maid service is also provided three times a week undertaking a change of towels and change of bed linen once each week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, along with luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, laundry and medical services, public internet terminals, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant with show cooking, a games room and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests include a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with separate children's section, and spacious sun terraces furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini club, and both pool and table tennis tables.
