Built in 1988 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2003, the modern low rise Sol Sun Beach complex has a total of 154 guest rooms, including 75 one and two bedroom self catering apartments and a further 79 studio flats, which are built over 2 floors, and set amidst spacious sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the Atlantic Ocean towards the nearby island of La Gomera.

All of the apartments come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with refrigerator, a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, a direct dial telephone, pay per view satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with a buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large lagoon style freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

The Sol Sun Beach Apartments also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment, with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
