Part of the prestigious Sol Melia Group of hotels, the 3 star rated Hotel Sol Arona Tenerife is situated around 200 metres from the sea front promenade and beach, in the popular resort of Los Cristianos on the south west coast of Tenerife.

The hotel is approximately 17km west of the Reina Sofia International Airport, and 500 metres from the commercial centre of the resort where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1975 and extensively refurbished during the summer of 2017, the modern Hotel Sol Arona Tenerife has a total of 364 guest rooms, offering a choice of both twin and single rooms and a further selection of Suites, all of which are built over 15 floors, and set amidst spacious sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, Premium rooms at the Hotel Sol Arona Tenerife are air conditioned and have a bathroom with both bathrobe, slippers and hairdryer, along with a lounge area with coffee and tea making facilities, and benefit from complimentary high speed WiFi internet access, all guest rooms at the hotel are also provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, along with a further smaller children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini-club, along with a hard surface tennis court, mini golf course and both pool and table tennis tables.

Of special interest to fitness enthusiasts, the Hotel Sol Arona Tenerife offers the use of a 24 hour gymnasium which is fully equipped with a selection of cardiovascular machines including, and abdominal bench, elliptical cross machines, exercise bikes, bodybuilding equipment, treadmill, exercise mats and weights.

The Hotel Sol Arona Tenerife also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment, with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
