The hotel is approximately 28km west of the Los Rodeos International Airport, and a short walk from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1960 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2015, the modern low rise Hotel Valle Mar has a total of 171 guest rooms, offering a choice of both twin rooms and Suites, all of which are built over 6 floors.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, complimentary high speed WiFi internet access, a satellite television, mini bar, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the Lago Martianez towards the sea.

In addition to the above features, a number of guest rooms at the Hotel Valle Mar have also been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all rooms at the hotel are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.
